Don’t fret about finding a Holiday gift for your boss. I’ve been there and it feels like everything you pick might send the wrong signals. You definitely do not want to send mixed messages to the person that holds your paycheck in their hands. Lucky for you and I there are some real easy safe bets when it comes to your boss and Holiday shopping. First of all, any type of mug will do. It doesn’t matter if they drink coffee or not. If they are human they will be consuming some type of beverage through out the day and you’ve got them covered! Here are some other ideas (including some cool mugs): 1. Hidden Animal Mugs with Tails, 2. Helicopter Mechanical Paperweight, 3. Squishy Mugs – Set of 2, 4. Whiskey Stones Double
Do you know someone that likes to coordinate themes with every get together? They ask you to attend in costume and take care of every detail that could have been forseen. In a Harry Potter party the cupcakes have quidditch toppers, a Halloween party has skull ice cubes in every drink, and Christmas is a tasteful modern affair. Yes, I know at least one friend who goes above and beyond in every single shindig and it is not in vain. I definitely enjoy the theme appropriate cake pops and decorations. Here are some ideas for your party throwing friend: 1. Cake Pops Kit, 2. Wooden Ice Cream Spoons, 3. Monster Coaster Set, 4. Cupcake Sparklers, 5. R2-D2 Bottle Stopper
We have collected some yummy gifts for those that appreciate tasty treats. We all know them. I’m one of them! The thought of brownies, cookies or macarons brightens up our day. We don’t agree that cupcakes are passé. They will forever be cool in our book and so will these yummy things: 1. Jeni’s Ice Cream, 4 Pints & 2 Macaroons, 2. Just the Surf and Turf, 3. D’Artagnan Gourmet Food Basket, 4. Urban Accents Kernel and Six Seasoning Kit, 5. Breville Panini Duo Press, 6. Richart Ligne Classique Chocolate, 7. Waffles Book
I’m really excited about Starbucks’ new single serve coffee machine called Verismo. What makes this better than Keurig’s K-cup System is the fact that the Verismo can make espresso, brewed coffee and lattes. Don’t get me wrong, I own a Keurig brewing system and I am thoroughly addicted to the crazy amount of variety of coffees available. My favorite K-Cup flavors are the Millstone Hazelnut Cream and the Folgers Vanilla Biscotti – but I digress. The new Verismo can also make lattes! Starbucks has also released their Milk Pods along with their array of coffee pods.
I found this giant pencil sharpener looking kitchen gadget this morning called Karoto. It was designed by Avichai Tadmor to peel, sharpen & curl ribbons of carrots, zucchini, cucumbers and other similar shaped vegetables to decorate and add flair to your salads and dishes. You can find it at the site Monkey Business where they sell many other designer products.

Why have regular shaped anything if you can make it awesome? If you follow our Instagram feed you might have realized we’re on a heart shaped crazy rampage. It all started with the purchase of a Heart Cookie Cutter Set and I’ve been cutting bread, watermelon, butter and even arepas into fun shapes. Unfortunately, our cookie cutters can only go so far and we’ve found Ice Cream Pop and Sandwich (Sammy) Shaped Molds: 1. Star Ice Pop Mold, 2. Set of 6 Jewels Ice Pop Molds, 3. Set of 3 Classic Icons Ice Cream Sandwich Makers, 4. Ice Cream Pop Swirl Mold, 5. Perfect Cube Ice Tray

When we have guests over for brunch, as we did this past weekend, Colombian Tacos are one of my never-failed, go-to recipes. They are unique enough to entertain highly cultured food snobs, but familiar enough for picky kids and those with a shy palette. Hooray, everyone wins!
Colombian Tacos are also really easy to make. Anyone can make these even if you’re not an experienced cook. Let me tell you how it’s done:
